Welcome to Alford Psychological Consulting, LLC. We are an 8(a), SDB and 100% woman-owned business providing comprehensive mental health assessment and consulting services to federal and state agencies.  Psychology has broad applications to everyday questions as well as to the more focused dilemmas facing today's world. APC takes on these challenges by covering more nontraditional venues not historically tackled by mental health professionals.  Our main goal is to utilize our knowledge and skill set to assist our clients in being able to use intelligence wisely and make informed decisions.  We do this by providing them with expert information based upon state of the art psychological evaluative techniques and customized programs addressing their specific needs.

Our founder, Nicole M. Alford, Ph.D. is a clinical-forensic psychologist licensed to practice professional psychology in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.  She has over twelve years of experience working or consulting for various local, state, and federal agencies, including the Courts, proffering opinions on various psycholegal issues. 

APC accomplishes our goals through three distinct divisions:

FORENSIC DIVISION - Melding the science of psychology with the art of assessment.

INTELLIGENCE DIVISION - Using intelligence wisely.

EDUCATIONAL & MEDIA DIVISION - Reaching out through national conferences and continuing education workshops.

Our services include pre-employment evaluations, personnel selection, threat assessment, trial consultations and expert testimony.
